When Bill Goodwin wanted to do something different at Cougar Point to set the newly renovated course apart from others he did
not see the finishing touch across the lagoons or down the fairways. If you have been on the new course all you have to do is look
down, at the cartpaths that is, to see the quality added to the redesigned Player course. You will not find aggregate surface golf
paths with rolled curbs on just any playing field. Goodwin told the Monitor after the Cougar Point opening that he just wanted to
add a first class touch to the new course.
