THE BREEZE
The Breeze is a new feature where we print your letters. Good or bad we want you to air your opinions about the Monitors and don't forget you can shoot the breeze by regular mail or e-mail to monitor@mtechpub.com.
Here's what we got last quarter:

A BIG Thank you for reminding me about a tax break for homeowners (6% to 4%) in your 3rd quarter 1996 IOP Monitor.

We moved into our rental property 11/1/96 and I knew about the tax break, but did not realize I had to apply before 1/15/97 called today and it has been approved.

The taxes saved will pay for many more years for the IOP Monitor. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

I'm reluctantly sending a check to renew my subscription. I thought your publication kept me abreast of sales and permits on Seabrook. Not only did you never publish my purchase (220 Jenkins Point) but many of the Jenkins Point purchases were never published. They are the main reason I subscribed.

I hope in the New Year, that you are able to include all sales and permits so that your subscribers are properly informed.*

*Publishers Note: We recognized the problem also. The transfer service providing us data got further and further behind. They have been dumped. We now receive transfers directly from Charleston County. So not only will the transfer data be in real time (i.e. dated by calendar quarter) but one less person transcribing recorded transactions means one less person making an error. Thanks to all our subscribers for living through this chapter in our growth.
