Charleston SC - With businesses announcing new web sites daily, MarkeTech Information Services may be the first to announce its web site simultaneously while adding a new web surfer to the family. Dennis Fassuliotis, MarkeTech's founder, plans to utilize the Internet to expand the regional, home-based marketing and public relations business nationally. But in the meantime, MarkeTech is pleased to use the new site to also announce the newest family member, 7 lb 13 oz, Nicholas Joseph Elias born September 9, 1996.

Fassuliotis said, "we're not sure, but this is probably the first interactive birth announcement in Charleston, most likely even in South Carolina, and possibly the country."

Although the MarkeTech site is designed to showcase the firm's publications. marketing and public relations services, Fassuliotis wanted a way to let business associates, relatives and friends get a glimpse of the new addition. Fassuliotis said, "after doing business from home for almost seven years, many of our clients have shared some of our more personal moments when the dog's barking or the baby's crying in the background. They don't mind and it just seemed natural to put the little guy on the Net so everyone could share our joy."

Is this a shameless effort to attract folks to visit the new website? "Who cares?" adds the proud father, "everyone loves babies, ours is the cutest and if you see something that interests you at the site, give me a call. With another mouth to feed I could use the business."
